우리 울산교회가 설립 50주년, 희년을 앞두고 추진해온 복지재단이 “밝은 미래”라는 밝고 정감 있는 이름으로 울산광역시로부터 사회복지법인으로 허가가 났습니다. 밝은 미래 사회 복지재단을 설립하게 된 것은 교회가 해야 할 이웃사랑을 실천하기 위해서입니다. 밝은 미래 복지재단을 사람들에게 우리가 믿는 하나님 사랑을 보여주는 통로가 될 것이고 이웃사랑을 실천하는 큰 마당이 될 것입니다.
지금 우리 사회는 도덕적인 해이와 경제적인 어려움으로 인한 가족붕괴, 그리고 급격한 노인인구의 증가로 인해서 사회가 어려움을 겪고 있습니다. 그러기에 울산에서 가장 대표적인 신앙인의 모임인 울산교회는 우리가 믿고 신봉하는 그리스도 예수의 사랑으로 이러한 문제에 적극적으로 대처하려는 시도가 이번에 밝은 미래 복지재단 설립으로 열매 맺게 되었습니다. 그리하여 지역의 어려운 상황에 있는 아동, 청소년, 그리고 어르신들을 위한 사역을 본격적으로 시작할 것입니다. 지금까지 해오던 여러 사역들을 좀 더 적극적으로 그리고 능동적으로 엮어가며 문화적인 측면이나 복지적 차원에서 전문적인 서비스를 제공하게 될 것입니다.
아동 및 청소년 복지사업으로는 저소득층, 결손가정 아동과 청소년의 정서지원과 학습지도를 위한 공부방 운영, 학습중단 청소년을 위한 대안 학교, 그리고 장애우 복지사업을 위해서는 정신지체 및 정서장애 아동을 위한 주말교실, 사회성 훈련 프로그램 실시, 캠프 및 나들이 등을 실시할 것입니다. 지역 복지사업을 위해서는 자원봉사자 교육, 재가복지사업, 문화적 지원을 위한 도서관운영을 꼽고 있고 어르신들의 건강 한 여가선용과 안정된 노후생활을 위한 종합복지서비스의 일환으로 경로대학운영, 독거노인들을 중심으로 한 생활지원과 제반 서비스제공을 노인복지사업으로 계속할 것입니다.
우선 내년부터 효율적인 복지사업을 하기 위해서 현 교육관 2층을 새로 손질해서 법인사무실, 어린이도서관, 컴퓨터실, 프로그램실, 어린이공부방, 청소년공부방, 상담실, 장애인도 사용할 수 있는 남여 화장실, 반드시 설치되어야 하는 조그만 주방 등을 예쁘게 꾸미려고 하고 있습니다. 그러면 현재 본당 1층 안쪽 깊은 곳에서 하고 있는 “꿈이 자라는 책마 을”이란 어린이도서관이 옮겨가게 되고 역시 그 맞은편 후미진 곳에 있는 “어린이 방과 후 공부방”도 옮겨가게 됩니다. 모쪼록 여러분의 기도와 관심을 통해서 하나님의 사랑 실천을 통해서 세상이 밝아지며, 사람들이 삶의 희망과 용기를 얻고, 더불어 살아가는 밝고 아름다운 세상을 만드는데 밝은 미래 사회복지재단이 되었으면 합니다.
Ahead of our 50th anniversary Jubilee, Ulsan Church has officially received authorization from the Ulsan Metropolitan City government to establish a social welfare corporation under the bright and warm name "Bright Future." The establishment of the Bright Future Welfare Foundation stems from our desire to put into practice the neighborly love that the church is called to embody. The Bright Future Welfare Foundation will serve as a conduit displaying the love of God in whom we believe, as well as an expansive courtyard for practicing love toward our neighbors.
Our society today is wrestling with deep hardships caused by moral laxity, family breakdown stemming from economic distress, and a rapidly aging population. Consequently, Ulsan Church—as a representative gathering of believers in Ulsan—sought to address these challenges proactively through the love of Christ Jesus whom we confess and adore, and this effort has now borne fruit in the establishment of the Bright Future Welfare Foundation. Through it, we will earnestly launch ministries dedicated to vulnerable children, youth, and the elderly in our region. By weaving together more actively and energetically the various ministries we have carried out so far, we will offer specialized services across cultural and welfare dimensions.
For child and youth welfare, we plan to operate after-school study rooms offering emotional support and academic tutoring for children and youth from low-income and broken homes, an alternative school for students who have discontinued their formal education, and, for individuals with disabilities, weekend classes, social skills training programs, camps, and outings tailored for children with intellectual and emotional challenges. For local community welfare, we envision volunteer training, home-based care services, and the operation of a community library for cultural enrichment. Furthermore, as part of our comprehensive welfare services promoting healthy leisure and a stable old age for our seniors, we will continue our senior ministries through Senior College programs, living assistance, and essential support services centered on elderly individuals living alone.
To conduct these welfare projects efficiently starting next year, we are currently remodeling the second floor of the Education Hall to create a lovely space featuring the foundation's corporate office, a children's library, a computer lab, activity rooms, study rooms for children and youth, counseling rooms, accessible restrooms for people with disabilities, and an essential small kitchenette. Once completed, the children's library "Book Village Where Dreams Grow," which is presently tucked away deep on the first floor of the main sanctuary building, will relocate here, along with the "Children's After-School Study Room" currently situated in a secluded area across from it. It is my heartfelt prayer that, through your prayers and heartfelt interest, the Bright Future Welfare Foundation may illuminate our world through the practice of God's love, inspiring people with hope and courage for life, and helping build a bright and beautiful world where we all thrive together.
In die aanloop tot ons 50ste jubileumfees het Ulsan Gemeente amptelike magtiging van die Ulsan Metropolitaanse Regering ontvang om 'n maatskaplike welsynskorporasie onder die helder en hartlike naam "Helder Toekoms" te stig. Die totstandkoming van die Helder Toekoms Welsynstigting spruit voort uit ons begeerte om daardie naasteliefde waartoe die kerk geroep is, daadwerklik uit te leef. Die Helder Toekoms Welsynstigting sal dien as 'n kanaal waardeur ons die liefde van God—in wie ons glo—aan mense kan toon, en as 'n wye binnehof waar naasteliefde tasbaar beoefen word.
Vandag gaan ons samelewing gebuk onder groot beproewinge weens morele verval, gesinsverbrokkeling as gevolg van ekonomiese swaarkry, en 'n vinnig toenemende bejaarde bevolking. Daarom het Ulsan Gemeente, as 'n toonaangewende gemeenskap van gelowiges in Ulsan, gepoog om hierdie vraagstukke aktief die hoof te bied deur die liefde van Christus Jesus wat ons bely en dien. Hierdie toewyding het nou vrug gedra met die oprigting van die Helder Toekoms Welsynstigting. Hiermee sal ons voluit begin met bedieninge wat toegespits is op weerlose kinders, die jeug en bejaardes in ons streek. Deur die verskillende bedieninge wat ons tot dusver onderneem het nog meer aktief en dinamies saam te snoer, sal ons gespesialiseerde dienste op kulturele en welsynsvlak kan aanbied.
Wat kinder- en jeugwelsyn betref, beplan ons die bedryf van nasorg-studiesentrums vir emosionele ondersteuning en leerbegeleiding aan kinders en jongmense uit lae-inkomste- en gebroke gesinne, 'n alternatiewe skool vir leerders wat hul formele onderwys gestaak het, en—ter wille van persone met gestremdhede—naweekklasse, programme vir sosiale vaardigheidsopleiding, sowel as kampe en uitstappies vir kinders met intellektuele en emosionele uitdagings. Vir gemeenskapswelsyn fokus ons op vrywilligersopleiding, tuissorgdienste en die bedryf van 'n biblioteek vir kulturele ondersteuning. Daarbenewens sal ons ons seniorbediening voortsit deur die Senior Kollege, bystand met lewensonderhoud en omvattende dienste gerig op bejaardes wat alleen woon, om sodoende 'n gesonde heenkome en 'n stabiele aftrede vir ons seniors te verseker.
Ten einde vanaf volgende jaar hierdie welsynsprojekte doeltreffend te kan loods, rig ons tans die tweede verdieping van die bestaande Opvoedingsaal smaakvol in met 'n stigtingskantoor, kinderbiblioteek, rekenaarlokaal, programlokale, studiekamers vir kinders en tieners, beradingskamers, rolstoeltoeganklike kleedkamers vir mans en dames, en 'n noodsaaklike klein kombuisie. Sodra dit voltooi is, sal die kinderbiblioteek "Boekedorp Waar Drome Groei", wat tans diep agterin op die grondvloer van die hoofkerkgebou geleë is, hierheen verskuif word, tesame met die "Naskoolse Studiesentrum vir Kinders" wat reg daarteenoor in 'n afgesonderde hoekie staan. Dit is my innige wens en bede dat die Helder Toekoms Welsynstigting, deur u voorbidding en meelewing, die wêreld sal verlig deur die uitleef van God se liefde, aan mense hoop en moed vir die lewe sal gee, en sal help bou aan 'n helder en pragtige wêreld waarin ons almal saam in vrede kan leef.
